Consider yourself one of the lucky few. After all, ski-in, ski-out convenience is a luxury available nowhere else on Aspen Mountain. And to make your day even easier, the 5-Star Ski Concierge team of the Little Nell will be waiting beside the gondola to handle any and all of your ski- or snowboard-related needs. In case you think Aspen Mountain is your only playground, think again. Your lift ticket allows you the freedom to enjoy Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk as well—all easily accessible by complimentary shuttle and arranged by your Ski Concierge. Together, the four mountains offer more than 5,300 acres of terrain and 1,200 professional instructors suited to whatever your skill level.
Ski and snowboard guests will also enjoy access to once-in-a-lifetime on-mountain experiences, such as skiing the slope before it opens, learning to drive a snowcat, snowcat powder tours and sweeping the mountain at day’s end with Aspen Mountain Ski Patrol. Meanwhile, adventures off the mountain are many and varied including the opportunity for a private cellar tasting at Element47, catered to your every need and hosted by one of Little Nell's sommeliers. For a more elevated experience, reserve a private cellar dinner with a customized menu and hand-selected wine pairings, including a consultation with our Wine Director and Executive Chef.
Element 47's wine program has a reputation as rich as its cellar. Not only have they earned the Wine Spectator Grand Award since 1997, they've achieved the remarkable feat of graduating 11 of North America’s 182 Master Sommeliers, the most of any establishment in North America. Chris Dunaway runs the wine program today, along with Food & Beverage Director, Csaba "Chubby" Oveges, and sommeliers, Erik Elliot and Jesse Libby. The team brings an infectious passion to the wine program at The Little Nell, hosting several phenomenal wine events each year, which are heavily attended by a wide spectrum of wine connoisseurs.
In 2017, they celebrated their 20th anniversary by receiving the Grand Award with a special dinner. In 2018, they were named a finalist for "Outstanding Wine Program" by the James Beard Foundation, nominated to Wine Enthusiast's Hall of Fame and also proudly received Wine Spectator's Grand Award once again. With 20,000+ wines in their cellar, their approach is based on a list that majors on classic producers and regions, with multiple vintages and wines from a roster of the world’s biggest names, from Roulot and Romanée-Conti in Burgundy, to Ridge and Screaming Eagle in California, via Chave Hermitage, Piedmont’s Gaja and a superb collection of mature classed-growth claret.
Join the club! The Little Nell Wine Club is designed for oenophiles interested in ordering wine for preferred pricing and the opportunity to have it stored onsite. Membership begins with a personal consultation with Wine Director, Chris Dunaway. The annual fee is $8,000, which is applied towards stocking your wine collection onsite and a 10% reduction off all wine purchases. Among the benefits, members will have access to order wines from rare allocated producers from classic regions, as well as unlisted wines from our attic.
